Bread Dough Crafting.
Bread Dough Crafting has been a favorite craft in my adult classes for many years and now it has become a favorite to do with my Grandson, Liam.
I like to sculpt tiny roses to decorate the tops of gift boxes or to glue onto ornaments or other projects.
Liam likes mixing up the dough and then creating his own original art.
We make a big batch of dough in the food processor.
take the crust off of 10 pieces of soft white bread .Break apart and place in food processor. For 10 pieces of bread we add 8oz. bottle of Tacky glue. It mixes into a ball very quickly. Remove from bowl and lay on a piece of plastic that has been sprinkled with baby powder. Now you can add paint if you want it colored Work small pieces of dough in your hands until it is smooth and not sticky.or use plain and paint your creations after they have dried overnight.
Left over dough can be kept in the refrigerator for several weeks.
Kids love to create their own designs and we find the adults in our house frequently join in the fun.
