Crafting with Grandson was a fun shirt Liam painted with Tulip fabric dyes. He likes black shirts so he called this his galaxy shirt.

To begin he used his hand to twist the center of the shirt around in a swirl.Then using a spray bottle with half water and half bleach he sprayed the  swirl several times until it bleached out most of the black color.

The spray bottles come in a kit with several bright colors of powder that you mix with water.

He enjoyed mixing up the colors to make his galaxy design

This was a fun project and surprisingly not very messy.  We just spread out a large garbage bag on the table to place the shirts on.

Let  the shirts dry overnight and then they can be washed with out fading.
