Crafting with kids cake pops

For our weekly crafting time Liam wanted to make Cake Pops.   He chose to use melted chocolate and sprinkles and crushed up oreo cookies to decorate the Pops.

This was a fun project and surprisingly very little mess. Maybe he will be a chef like his Uncle Barrett.  He has already said he wants to have Cake Pops for his birthday party in May.

He gave a special Pop to Grampa and little sister Avila is enjoying one too. Noah is eating the left over oreos -->

painting clay pots

This was a fun project to do with Liam. We used sea sponges to paint clay pots using several colors of Patio paint by DecoArt.

Then he planted herbs and catnip in the pots and set them on his front porch. It was a fun project and easy to do.

crafting with great Grandson

Crafting with my Grandsons is such a joyful time for me. for this project we used Pinata paints to paint on glossy poster board. The paint dries quickly to a glass like finish. It was a easy project for Liam and small hands can drop the paint by drops.

You can see in his finished masterpiece he has a face in the corner.
